Waikiki Food Court Submeter Upgrade Project – Honolulu, Hawaii

At a Waikiki Food Court in Honolulu, Hawaii, we completed a comprehensive utility submetering upgrade designed to improve the accuracy and reliability of electric, gas, and water usage data. The project modernized the property’s existing metering infrastructure with a RF Remote Collection System, providing a reliable solution for remote meter reading and centralized utility data management.

The system uses radio-frequency (RF) communication technology to transmit meter data from individual utility meters to a centralized data collection platform. This enables property management to remotely collect meter readings and access accurate usage information through cloud-based reporting, improving visibility into utility consumption and simplifying ongoing meter data management.

The project included the installation and integration of DCAP (Data Concentrating Access Point) for centralized meter data management and cloud connectivity, MDT Pulse devices for accurate gas and electric meter readings, MDT Encoder units for precise water meter readings, and MCS Pulsemaster components for specialized gas metering applications. Our technical team also provided professional installation and system programming, ensuring seamless integration with the property’s existing electric, gas, and water meters.

The completed system provides Waikiki Food Court with more reliable utility data, streamlined remote meter reading, and improved visibility into energy and water consumption. This project demonstrates our experience providing commercial submetering, remote meter reading, and utility data solutions for commercial and condominium properties in Honolulu and throughout Hawaii.
